Title obtained:
1st level Academic diploma in Percussion Instruments

Requisites and/or entry tests 
- High School Diploma
- Appropriate level of technical and theoretical preparation

Entry test: minimum 21 minutes performance

Educational and professional objectives
- Advanced level preparation for an appropriate command of artistic and didactic methods and techniques;
- knowledge through the practise of the solo, chamber and ensemble repertoire related to one?s own instrument;
- Entering the working world both in the classic sector and in other musical sectors related with the curricular choices made up together with the lecturers.

Department 4 “Keyboard and percussion instruments” Instrument: Piano (I Level)

Qualification awarded
I Level Academic Diploma in Piano

Admission requirements

• High school Diploma
• Getting through the exams “The history of music” and “Armony”
• An adequate preparation checked at the admission test

• Admission test with a performance with the following pieces:

- Virtuoso studies and one of these from the Clementi “Gradus ad Parnassum”
- J. S. Bach Preludes and fugues from “The Well Temperated Clavier”
- One or more pieces from the Classic, Romantic or Post-Romantic period.

Educational and professional goals
The I Level Piano Course is aimed at a preparation concerning the instrumental practice in order to accede at the II Level Course.


Access to further studies
The possibility of advancing to the II Level Course in Music Disciplines.

Final examination
At the end of the 3rd year. 
Two parts:
1. Performance (45minutes)
2. Discussion of an elaborate

Examination and assessment regulations
At the end of every course there is an exam with a grade.
Getting through the exam give to the student the right to accumulate credits.
